Ingredients
- 🍴60 gm watermelon
- 🍴30 gm jowar flour
- 🍴1/2 medium onion
- 🍴1/2 tablespoon ginger paste
- 🍴1 handful coriander leaves
- 🍴1 dash carom seeds
- 🍴1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 🍴salt as required
- 🍴30 gm rice flour
- 🍴15 gm wheat flour
- 🍴1/2 green chilli
- 🍴1/2 tablespoon garlic paste
- 🍴1 dash cumin seeds
- 🍴1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 🍴1 teaspoon ghee
Instructions
- 🍴Prepare the batter for thalipeeth
Mix watermelon rind, rice flour, jowar flour, wheat flour, chopped onions, green chilli + ginger + garlic paste, chopped coriander, turmeric, red chilli powder, ajwain, jeera and salt as per taste. Add water or buttermilk to the mix, make flow sheet consistency batter.
- 🍴Heat a pan and pour a spoonful batter on it
Heat the non-stick pan and put some batter on and spread it with a spoon making a round shape.
- 🍴Add oil to the pan
Add some oil by side. Keep the flame to medium. Put lid on and turn after 2 min
- 🍴Cook thalipeeth on both sides and serve
Cook the other side for 1 min and now it is ready to eat. Serve it with curd, groundnut or flax seed chutney.
