Ingredients
- 🍴1/2 cup broken wheat (Dalia)
- 🍴1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 🍴1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
- 🍴1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 🍴3 tablespoon peas
- 🍴1/2 cup soaked moong dal
- 🍴2 teaspoon ghee
- 🍴1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
- 🍴salt as required
- 🍴1 chopped tomato
- 🍴1 small chopped carrot
- 🍴4 cup water
Instructions
- 🍴Roast Dalia
Heat one teaspoon of ghee in a pan. Add Dalia and roast them for 2-3 minutes until aromatic.
- 🍴Saute jeera
Now heat one teaspoon of ghee in a cooker, add jeera and let them splutter for a minute. Add hing, ginger paste, and stir a bit.
- 🍴Add tomatoes
Now add tomatoes and mix well. Cook till the tomatoes turn mushy.
- 🍴Add the rest of the ingredients
Now add peas, carrots, turmeric, and salt to the cooker. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
- 🍴Add soaked moong dal
Lastly, add soaked moong dal and water. Mix well and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
