Ingredients

  • 🍴100 gm split black gram
  • 🍴2 onion
  • 🍴salt as required
  • 🍴1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 🍴1 handful coriander leaves
  • 🍴1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 🍴1 teaspoon garam masala powder

To start with, soak black lentil overnight in water. The next morning, drain out the water and in a grinder, grind dal in order to make a smooth paste. To this paste, add chopped onions, coriander leaves, chilies, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt.

  • 🍴Deep fry the pakoras and serve hot

Mix thoroughly. Make small balls using this mixture by applying a little water/oil to your palms. In a bowl full of sesame seeds, dip these balls and cover them completely with the seeds. Take a kadhai, heat oil in it on medium flame, and deep fry these balls. Transfer on a plate and serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
