Ingredients
- 🍴2 cup urad dal
- 🍴5 green chili
- 🍴1/2 cup rice

Instructions
- 🍴Soak urad dal and Kala chana overnight
To prepare this delicious snack recipe, soak urad dal along with rice and kale chana overnight or for 6-7 hours. The next morning, drain out the water completely. Soak rice for 3-4 hours.
- 🍴Make a paste with urad dal, Kala chana, and rice
In a grinder jar, add the soaked dal, rice, and kale chana and grind to a thick paste. The batter for vada is ready, transfer it to a large bowl and add in the chopped green chilies and chopped coriander leaves along with salt as per taste.
- 🍴Heat oil in a deep pan
The consistency of the dal paste would be much thicker, so add a little water to make a smooth batter. On the other hand, put a deep-bottomed kadhai on medium flame and heat oil in it.
- 🍴Make the vadas with the dal batter
Now, take some batter in your hand and make a circular-shaped vada. Repeat the procedure to make more such vadas. Flatten the vadas slightly with your hands and make a hole in the middle.
- 🍴Deep fry the vadas and serve
Carefully, add these vadas to the hot oil and deep fry them. Keep frying these vadas till they turn golden brown in color. Turn off the burner and place these deep-fried vadas on absorbent paper to absorb the extra oil. Serve hot!
