Ingredients
- 🍴1/2 cup pureed spinach
- 🍴1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
- 🍴salt as required
- 🍴1/4 cup urad dal
- 🍴1 cup wheat flour
- 🍴4 tablespoon refined oil
Instructions
- 🍴For making this South Indian recipe, combine urad dal and fenugreek seeds along with enough water in a deep bowl and soak for 2 hours. Drain well. Wash thoroughly.
- 🍴Blend in a mixer to form a smooth batter.
- 🍴Transfer the mixture to another bowl, add the spinach purée, whole wheat flour, salt and water. Mix well.
- 🍴In the meantime, heat a non-stick tava, sprinkle a little water on it.
- 🍴Pour a ladleful of the batter on it and spread it in a circular motion to make dosa.
- 🍴Cook till the dosa turns light brown in color from both sides. Drizzle a little oil from the sides.
- 🍴Garnish with handful of chopped onions, green chills and paprika. Serve immediately with sambhar and coconut chutney.
