- 🍴2 small onion
- 🍴4 green chilli
- 🍴2 tablespoon coriander leaves
- 🍴2 cup wheat flour
- 🍴8 tablespoon ghee
- 🍴salt as required
- 🍴1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 🍴1 teaspoon dried pomegranate seeds
For Dough
- 🍴water as required
Instructions
- 🍴Finely chop the green chillies, onions and coriander leaves and keep them aside in separate bowls.
- 🍴Next, take a deep bowl and add flour, onions, coriander leaves, dried pomegranate seeds (anardana), cumin seeds, green chillies and a little bit of ghee. Mix them well and add water to make a dough. Keep the dough aside for 10 minutes.
- 🍴Divide the dough into equal balls. Place a Tawa over medium flame and let it heat.
- 🍴Now, roll a ball flat using a rolling pin and place it on the hot tawa. Slightly roast the paratha from both sides and take it off the tawa. Roll the paratha again on a rolling board until thin.
- 🍴Place the paratha on the hot tawa again and pour 2 tablespoon ghee onto each side. Cook till it turns golden brown in colour. Repeat for the remaining dough. Serve hot with curd, pickle or chutney of your choice.
