Ingredients
- 🍴2 cup rice
- 🍴1/2 cup grated coconut
- 🍴2 tablespoon roasted peanuts
- 🍴1 teaspoon chana dal
- 🍴6 curry leaves
- 🍴1/4 tablespoon sesame oil
- 🍴100 gm raw mango
- 🍴1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 🍴1 teaspoon urad dal
- 🍴salt as required
- 🍴1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- 🍴3 green chili
Instructions
- 🍴Cook rice
Rinse and drain the rice. Cook the rice and keep it aside. Rice should be cooked well but not mushy.
- 🍴Grate the mango
Wash, peel, and grate the mango. Taste the mango and use it accordingly.
- 🍴Add the ingredients in a kadhai and saute
Heat oil in a kadhai over medium flame. Add in mustard, urad dal, and chana dal, and few curry leaves, and allow it to splutter. Furthermore, add peanuts and saute for a minute.
- 🍴Add mango, green chili, and turmeric, and saute
Also, add raw mango, green chili, and turmeric. Saute for a minute or till mango shrinks.
- 🍴Add cooked rice and mix well
Now add in 2 cups cooked rice and salt to taste. Mix gently without breaking rice grains.
