Ingredients

  • 🍴3 cup milk
  • 🍴1 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
  • 🍴1 1/2 cup mango pulp
  • 🍴3 tablespoon milk powder
  • 🍴1 1/2 tablespoon sugar

For Garnishing

  • 🍴slivered almonds as required

Instructions

  • 🍴To prepare this dessert recipe, heat milk in a saucepan over medium flame. When it comes to a boil, add vinegar in the milk and let it curdle. Over a large bowl, place a muslin cloth and drain the curdled milk through it.
  • 🍴Now, bring all the 4 ends of the cloth together. Tie one end around the other three ends. Hang the cloth over a tap of running water. Once all the whey has drained, open the cloth and transfer the chenna (residue) in a bowl. In this bowl, mix the sugar and milk powder. Pour the mango pulp in this and mix it well.
  • 🍴Over medium flame, place a saucepan and pour the mango-chenna mixture in it. Heat the mixture until you obtain a thick paste. Once cooked, transfer the mixture to a bowl. Let it cool down. Knead it in the form of dough and form small balls from it. Place them on a platter and transfer these to the fridge. Once chilled, garnish it with slivered almonds and serve!
