Ingredients
- 🍴1 cup bitter gourd
- 🍴5 teaspoon refined oil
- 🍴2 cup wholemeal flour
- 🍴1/2 cup black millet flour
- 🍴1 teaspoon garlic
- 🍴2 teaspoon chili powder
- 🍴1/2 teaspoon salt
- 🍴2 tablespoon coriander leaves
- 🍴2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 🍴water as required
Instructions
- 🍴Wash and clean the bottle gourd and chop into thin pieces. Carefully chop the garlic cloves and keep them aside until needed again. Also chop the coriander leaves finely. Keep aside.
- 🍴In a deep based bowl add in the millet flour followed by wholemeal flour, red chili powder, chopped garlic, chopped bitter gourd, coriander leaves, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well using a wooden spoon.
- 🍴Add enough water in the prepared mixture and knead it into a smooth dough. Now take small ball like portions of the dough and roll it using a little flour.
- 🍴Heat a griddle on medium flame and add refined oil in it. Press the dough balls in a chapati form and carefully transfer it on the heated griddle. Cook until brown dots appear on the thepla. Serve any chutney of your choice.
