- 🍴30 gm coconut
- 🍴500 ml milk
- 🍴20 ml ghee
- 🍴10 gm raisins
- 🍴200 gm rice
- 🍴10 gm jaggery
- 🍴5 gm green cardamom
- 🍴2 cashews
- 🍴5 gm mixed dry fruits
Instructions
- 🍴Prepare poppy seeds, coconut, and rice mixture
To prepare the Gasagase Payasam, first, roast the poppy seeds and rice into a golden brown. Grind the mixture into a coarse consistency, add grated coconut and water and grind again to a smooth mixture.
- 🍴Add all ingredients to milk and boil
Heat a saucepan with milk, add the ground poppy seeds and coconut mixture, cardamom pods, jaggery, and bring it to a boil.
