  • 🍴10 cloves garlic
  • 🍴1 teaspoon crushed to paste green chili
  • 🍴1 tablespoon refined oil
  • 🍴1 teaspoon carom seeds
  • 🍴1 teaspoon refined oil
  • 🍴1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 🍴1 pinch salt
  • 🍴1/2 tablespoon coriander leaves

Instructions

  • 🍴Knead a fine dough for Lachcha Paratha

Take a dough-kneading bowl and combine wheat flour, carom seeds (ajwain), red chilli powder, crushed garlic, coriander leaves, green chilli paste, oil. Mix well all the ingredients and then add water. Knead a smooth dough and keep aside when done.

  • 🍴Roll out a Lachcha Paratha

Take a little dough in your hand and dust using dry flour. Roll it like a chapati, apply oil and dust some wheat flour. Pleat the chapati to make a number of folds. Roll up into your palm and set aside. Lightly roll out the lachcha paratha.

  • 🍴 Cook Lachcha Paratha

Heat a pawa on medium flame and add the paratha over it. Apply ghee or oil on both sides and fry till it becomes light brown in colour.

  • 🍴Crush the paratha and serve hot

Crush the paratha with your hands to separate the layer. Once it is done, transfer to a serving plate. Serve with any dish or even a simple pickle.
