Ingredients
- 🍴200 gm chana dal
- 🍴50 gm gram flour (besan)
- 🍴1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 🍴3 tablespoon hung curd
- 🍴3 green chili
- 🍴100 gm cabbage
- 🍴3 tablespoon mint leaves
- 🍴1 1/2 teaspoon powdered cumin seeds
- 🍴4 pinches salt
- 🍴1 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
Instructions
- 🍴To make this tikki, take the chana dal and soak it overnight. Then take a blender and put the chana dal, 3 tbsp of water and green chillies in it. Blend all these nicely to get coarse paste consistency.
- 🍴Take this paste out in a bowl and add chopped cabbage, chopped mint leaves, turmeric powder, cumin powder, hung curd, gram flour and salt. Mix all these well.
- 🍴Make small balls of this mix. Then take a nonstick pan and heat some oil in it.
- 🍴Flatten the small balls in the shape of a tikki and fry them on the pan. Cook from both sides until it turns golden brown.
