Ingredients

  • 🍴2/3 kilograms carrot
  • 🍴300 gm sugar
  • 🍴2-star anise
  • 🍴2/3 teaspoon saffron
  • 🍴3 cup water

Instructions

  • 🍴Wash, peel and cut the carrots

To prepare this recipe, wash the carrots under running water. Now take the carrots and peel them. Cut them length-wise and keep them aside. Now with the help of a needle, make holes in the carrots.

  • 🍴Boil carrots and prepare sugar syrup

Take a saucepan and pour water into it. Heat the water on medium flame. Now add carrots into the pan. Boil them until tender. For preparing sugar syrup, take a separate saucepan and add water to it. Now pour sugar and stir well. Stir until you get thread-like consistency. Add boiled carrots into the mixture and stir until the mixture has a thick consistency.
