Ingredients

  • 🍴2 cup soaked overnight rice
  • 🍴salt as required
  • 🍴2 dry red chili
  • 🍴1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 🍴2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 🍴3 tablespoon refined oil
  • 🍴tamarind as required
  • 🍴2 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 🍴1 small finely chopped cabbage
  • 🍴1 cup grated coconut

Instructions

  • 🍴To prepare this delicious recipe, soak the rice overnight. Dry the rice and transfer it into the grinder. Add the cumin seeds, coriander seeds along with grated coconut and tamarind pieces in the jar. Grind it into a smooth paste. Use the required amount of water.
  • 🍴After the mixture is prepared, add the finely chopped onions and cabbages to the batter. Use a ladle to mix all the ingredients well. See that no lumps are formed.
  • 🍴Heat a frying pan over medium flame and put 2-3 teaspoons of oil. Use the ladle of the pan to spread the oil throughout the pan. Take as much quantity as a cup from the mixture and start circling it thin throughout the pan.
  • 🍴Allow each side of the dosa to get a roasted color on its surface and cook well. Add few more drops of oil if needed. Repeat the same until the entire mixture is finished.
  • 🍴Toss it to see that both the sides are well cooked. Fold it into halves and serve it hot with tomato sauce or red chilly chutney and enjoy!
