Ingredients

  • 🍴8 bread slices
  • 🍴2 chopped green chili

  • 🍴1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 🍴1/2 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 🍴4 large boiled potato
  • 🍴1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 🍴1/2 cup water
  • 🍴1 teaspoon salt
  • 🍴1/4 teaspoon dry mango powder

Instructions

  • 🍴Defrost the mixed vegetables and prepare potato filling

Defrost the frozen veggies. Carrots and peas work best for bread rolls. Then in a bowl, peel and mash the potatoes. Add all the powdered spices, salt, chopped green chilies, coriander leaves, and the defrosted veggies. You can also use boiled carrots and peas.

  • 🍴Divide the potato filling into balls

Mix everything well and make oval or oblong-shaped balls of the mixture. For doing that, take a tbsp full of the mixture in your palm and roll to make a ball.

Prepare a mixture by adding 2 tbsp all-purpose flour in 1/2 cup water. Trim the edges of the bread and lightly brush them with the flour mixture. Cover the corners as well. Make sure that you do not overapply so that the bread doesn't get too soggy. The bread slices should get moist but the water should not drip. Flatten them with a rolling pin.

Put a potato ball at one end and roll the bread. Seal the edges with your fingers so that the filling remains safely inside. Pan fry in oil till crispy & slightly golden on all sides. Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney!
