- 🍴3 bitter gourd
- 🍴3 teaspoon salt
- 🍴2 tablespoon refined oil
- 🍴3 teaspoon red chili powder
- 🍴1 teaspoon turmeric
- 🍴1 ml water
Instructions
- 🍴Boil the bitter gourd in salt and chili water
In a pan add water on a medium flame and allow the water to boil. While the water is boiling add 1 teaspoon chili powder and 1 teaspoon salt. Stir and let the salt dissolve. In the meanwhile, chop bitter gourd into equal pieces and put the pieces in the boiled water.

Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, uncover the lid and drain the water so as to reduce the bitter taste of bitter gourds. Now take the mixture of remaining chili powder and salt and turmeric powder. On a Kadai kept on a medium flame, heat oil.
- 🍴Shallow fry until the bitter gourd turns brown
In the pan, shallow fry bitter gourd pieces until the pieces turn brownish from both sides. Now remove the Kadai from the heat and take out the gourd pieces. Serve hot with chapati, rice.
