Ingredients

  • 🍴2 cup paneer
  • 🍴2 cup powdered sugar
  • 🍴1 tablespoon ghee
  • 🍴1 cup water
  • 🍴1/2 cup milk powder
  • 🍴1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 🍴2 powdered green cardamom
  • 🍴1/4 teaspoon saffron
  • 🍴1 cup milk

Instructions

  • 🍴Knead a fine dough and make balls

Take paneer and add one tbsp maida on it, Mix well and knead a smooth dough. From the dough, take a small ball and make an oval shape. Repeat the same procedure and make as many balls as you want.

  • 🍴Preparation of sugar syrup

In a Kadai/ pan, add two cups of water and one cup of sugar. Boil it till the sugar dissolves. Add two cardamom pods. In the sugar syrup, add prepared balls. Drop slowly, cover it with a lid, and boil for 10 minutes. Keep it aside and let it cool completely.

  • 🍴Preparation for the khoya stuffing

In a Kadai, add one tbsp ghee. When the ghee is melted, add one small cup of milk and mix it well, then add milk powder and stir. Stir well so that there are no lumps in it. Now add milk saffron (dip some saffron in milk) and powdered sugar to it and stir well. The mixture should be in thick consistency and not stick to the pan. The khoya is ready.

  • 🍴Add khoya to the balls and put it in syrup

Slit the paneer balls, stuff some khoya in it. Put these prepared paneer balls in the sugar syrup. Once it is done, transfer it to a serving plate. Ready to serve Bengali Style Chom Chom.
