Ingredients
- 🍴1 kilogram grated beetroot
- 🍴150 gm ghee
- 🍴150 gm khoya
- 🍴50 gm mixed dry fruits
- 🍴500 ml full cream milk
- 🍴150 gm sugar
- 🍴2 powdered green cardamom
Instructions
- 🍴To prepare this healthy dessert recipe wash beetroot under running water and drain its water completely with the help of a strainer. Then peel and grate the beetroot and keep it aside.
- 🍴Now, heat a heavy-bottomed pan and add grated beetroot along with milk to it. Cook for about 20 minutes over a low flame and keep stirring. Once the beetroot is cooked and absorbed milk, add desi ghee and cook again for 10 minutes.
- 🍴Add the sugar and cardamom powder, mix by a quick stir. Now, add grated khoya at to this mixture and cook again for about 10 minutes. Remove from flame, garnish with mixed dry fruits and serve hot!
